Those classes are for intermediate to experienced artists. I do not recommend them for beginners, so before enrolling, make sure you meet the following criteria:

  • ZBrush: Strong knowledge of all fundamentals

  • Maya: some familiarity with the software's basics and interface

  • Good understading of the English language

    • Lesson 3 - Eyes sizes, distances and rotation. Area and dome lights explained. HDRI rendering tests and references.

    • Lesson 4 - Mesh and UDIMs planning, tips for UVs, sketch reprojection into new topology with ZWrap, Introduction to HD geometry

    • Lesson 5 - Pores constrution, pores arrays, sculpting with pores stamps, exporting displacement maps, rendering disp maps in Maya

    • Lesson 6 - Wrinkles, blending wrinkles and pores, more brushes explored, tips on sculpting across multiple resolutions, displacement render test

    • Lesson 7 - sculpting further wrinkles and micro-wrinkles, nose pores and pimples, possible issues to avoid, bump height map, specular map, micro-bump and render tests

    • Lesson 8 - Sculpting the lips, refining the pores placement, more transition areas, more work on the primary and secondary forms

    • Lesson 9 - Current skin shader nodes in detail, polypainting the albedo maps and rendering them to test

    • Lesson 10 - Eyes explored: model, sculpting, scale, distance, shaders, textures, rendering

    • Lesson 11 - Eyelids adjusted to eyeballs, further skin detailing around eyes, nose and forehead, tearlines, render tests

    • Lesson 12 - Introduction to XGen, grooming eyelashes and peachfuzz

    • Lesson 13 - Grooming the eyebrows and nose hair with XGen, more sculpting techniques, hair density map, cloth shader

    • Lesson 15 - Updated skin shader, vellus hair shader and glasses shader, sculpting tips on how to observe the forms, teeth model and shader

    • Lesson 16 - Final meeting: more sculpting tips, career, industry talk, inspiration, personal challenges, online presence, personal projects and closing words
